Michael Oxford and Landon Randall have collectively been in the financial services industry for over 50 years. After the stock market crash of 2000 and 2008 they realized that there was a need for people to be better informed with regard to their financial futures. It was then that they decided to teach adult financial classes as a means to help educate people in the community on how to plan for a successful retirement. Out of this initiative, Western Maricopa Adult Education (WMAED) was born. Since inception, WMAED has held workshops in 4 west valley college campuses and has helped to educate over 5000 people. With a variety of workshops such as Retirement Planning, Social Security Maximization and Tax Reform, our goal is to help families nearing retirement, or in early retirement, make informed decisions and improve their retirement experience and help them to realize their retirement dreams.
With all of the unknowns and the uncertainty of the stock market around election time, one of the biggest things you should remember is to be patient and not to panic.
If you’re comfortable with the amount of risk you are currently exposed to and have the time to ride out whatever may come, you may want to stick it out and see what happens.
